PTR Series How To - Picking PTR sites

This blog post a source for those who are picking PTR sites. There are so many out there that many people do not know how to pick, manage, and tell which ones are scams and which ones aren't. While doing this experiment on the scams and no scams, I have learned a couple of things and I want to tell you about it and see if it can apply to your lives and your adventures in PTR sites.

Here are some steps to follow when picking and participating in a PTR site.

1) Research the sites

It is vitally important to research the sites you want to join. Here are a couple of websites that you can use.

www.scam.com
www.gptboycott.com

These websites are really good resources. You can read about how other websites have treated thier members and if they have paid or not. If any of your websites are on these websites its a good idea not to join them. You will just be waisting your time for nothing.

Sometimes the paying sites have testimonials or a record of emails of people who they have paid. It is always good to email those people, or even the site to see if they will send you a screen shot of a payment made. If anyone answers you and sends you a recent screen shot then go ahead and give the site a try.

Another good way to research your sites is to just google them. You can learn get a mountain of information from googling.

2) Free Membership Only

Once you have decided on a website(s) only become a free member. DO NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP!!!!! Most of them get people who are in desperate situations. They claim that if you purchase their membership then the minimuim payment request is little to none and you will get it much faster. This gets many people because it is human nature to be impatient. When you purchase the membership and the place turns out to be a scam, then you are out of money and time.

It is always good to wait and have patience and get to the free member minimuim no matter how long it takes. This way, if they are a scam you are not out any money. You havent lost anything except time. You are not out any money.

Now if the website pays you then you can upgrade the membership and get the money faster.

3) Seperate Email Address

I put this a a third step because it is an optional step. IF you join more than three then I would suggest to set up a seperate email address in order to participate in the ptr websites. Some of them send out many many emails and can flood your email. However this step is up to the member.

I hope these steps help. They are very simple. Here soon I will be posting on hints on how to effectively participate and advertise your ptr sites.
